The armed forces of Ukraine in case of violation of the agreement on full and comprehensive cease-fire on the line of differentiation on Donbass is ready to give a fitting rebuff to the enemy, but not to succumb to provocations of the militants. This was stated by the chief of the APU, Colonel-General Ruslan Homchak.
“Measures are complete and comprehensive cease-fire do not deprive military personnel, in case of violation of agreements by the enemy, to act in accordance with international law and national legislation of Ukraine in the event as offensive and provocative acts of sabotage-intelligence operations and endanger the life and health of servicemen, the civilian population, damage to or destruction of infrastructure. While the Armed forces of Ukraine are ready to give a fitting rebuff to the enemy in case of violation of agreements, which created the appropriate additional reserves”, – he said.
Homchak noted that the APU is “understand the price of peace has already been measured thousands of lives, and do everything to achieve it”.
“I urge not to succumb to provocations, managed, hybrid manifestations of panic, keep calm and unite around their troops and their defenders. The armed forces of Ukraine will always be loyal to the oath to the Ukrainian people, and hope that this large-scale fundamental attempt to provide a global truce will give an opportunity to our politicians and diplomats, strengthening the defense capability of the state to move forward to achieve peace,” added the commander.
