In these regions, prevail extreme fire danger levels
In Ukraine, which is back dry and hot weather, July 24, in several areas declared extreme fire danger. About it reported in a press-service gschs.
According to rescuers, the extraordinary level of fire danger will prevail in:
- Khmelnytskyi region;
- Vinnytsia region;
- Zhytomyr region;
- Kyiv region;
- Cherkasy region;
- Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Odessa region;
- Mykolaiv region;
- The Donetsk region;
- Crimea.
Recall that in early July near Smolyaninov in the Novoaydarsky region of the Luhansk region there was a large-scale fire. When it occupied an area of 85 hectares, fire it contained, however, because of the strong wind that was blowing in different directions at a speed of 25 m/s, the fire spread and engulfed the forest, including in the settlements.
The fire had destroyed and damaged hundreds of housesand from the village Smolyaninovo were evacuated 30 people (including 13 children), a further 30 residents resettled. Five people were killed, 34 people ended up in the hospital.
