Doctor of Sciences, leading researcher of Institute of Geophysics of NAS of Ukraine Svetlana Boychenko many years undertaking research on climate change. In an interview with “Today” Svetlana Grigoryevna told about what is happening with the climate, how these changes will affect our lives and what we should expect of the Ukrainians in the coming years.
The question that disturbs everybody: what’s going on with the weather?
– Let’s ask the question another way: what is happening with the climate? Climate changes occur on the background of the changes appear cyclical – fluctuations generated by different natural factors. The climate has never been constant. It is volatile, and this volatility characteristic manifestations of various adverse abnormal weather phenomena.
