Secretary of the national security Council and defence of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov has said about the relevance of corporatization of the public sector defence industry of Ukraine.
During the opening of the first all-Ukrainian forum of common enterprises of defense industry of Ukraine Secretary of the national security Council took the issue of corporatization of state enterprises of the defense industry with current issues of the defense complex.
He noted that the decision of this question must be provided at the legislative level.

“I hope it will be not only foreign but also private Ukrainian capital”, – said Turchinov.
Previously the Director of the Finance Department of the Ministry of defence of Ukraine, Colonel Sergei Galinski reported that in 2017, doubling the amount of development costs and the purchase of arms and military equipment in Ukraine.
“Specified amount of funds (33.8 billion UAH is provided for logistical support of the Ministry of defense. – Ed.) allows you to use them for priorities: first of all, the cost of developing and purchasing weapons and military equipment in 2017, more than double compared with the year 2016”, – he said.
