Today’s meeting in Minsk of the Trilateral contact group have not yielded results in the discussion of “formula Steinmeier”. This was stated by the results of the Minsk talks, the special representative of the head of the OSCE Saydik Martin, reports TASS.
According to him, was discussed, among others, and new plans for breeding forces in the Donbas.
“The safety group has continued discussions on the security around vital civilian infrastructure. Also discussed lists of new security zones for the breeding of forces and means,” said Sidik.

He also said that “according to the “formula Steinmeier” the discussion ended inconclusively”.
“Formula Steinmeier” involves the introduction of the law on special order of local government in certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions on a temporary basis on the day of the local elections in Donbas and on an ongoing basis – after the publication of the OSCE report on their results.
The next meeting of the contact group in Minsk scheduled for August 23.
