Of paramount importance is the creation in Ukraine with the necessary powers and resources of an independent, efficient judicial authority and the name and structure of this body are parts, says the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.
“President Juncker was clear: the fight against corruption is crucial and needs further acceleration and intensification. It is important that an independent, efficient judicial authority with the necessary powers and resources to the fight against corruption”, – cite the words of Juncker in the EU delegation in Ukraine on Friday evening.
Thus, added to the EU delegation, the EC President said: “the Question of how the court is invoked and configured is a matter of details. The importance of independence, effectiveness and sufficient resources and powers that should have this authority.”
