The United States and Ukraine do not see the need to change the Channel format and have some parallel track to the Minsk process. About this at the briefing near the Congress said the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“We see no need to change the Channel format and have some parallel track to the Minsk process. Indeed, we discussed more active involvement of our American partners to the Channel format. We are completely open and we welcome these steps. And we absolutely welcome more active participation including Executive format of the Minsk process, including the Trilateral contact group. We believe this can bring a new breath, reboot, and quick results,” – said Petro Poroshenko.
Yesterday, after meeting with U.S. President Donald trump in the enlarged circle in the White House, Poroshenko said that he sees no need to change the format of negotiations with Russia on Donbass.
