In Germany, a grenade exploded in the 1940’s, bought at a flea market

The explosion occurred in the German town of Hennef. In one of the local garages grenade exploded 1940-ies purchased by the owner of the premises at a flea market. Police evacuated neighbouring properties. Fortunately, no one was hurt, according to Yahoo!

On the scene arrived sappers. They surrounded the nearby train station and a stretch of highway.

51-year-old garage owner said that he bought a whole box of shells during the Second world war in the local market. At the moment the man is under investigation. He is accused of illegal possession of weapons.

The punishment for a German, is still unknown.

Earlier it was reported that in the Bavarian town of Eltmann, an explosion occurred at the plant for the production of components for cars.
