In Vilnius on Friday, may 26, was held the 3rd Forum of free Russia (whose co-founder is a Russian opposition leader and chess player Garry Kasparov) on the topical issues of Russian and international politics. In a statement on the outcome of the 3rd Forum of free Russia, published on 28 may, says that the Kremlin’s aggression against Ukraine is an international crime.
“The Kremlin’s aggression against Ukraine is an international crime. Some Russian politicians and public figures did not dare to give a principled assessment of the annexation of Crimea and Russian aggression in Eastern Ukraine. Forum of Free Russia believes it is necessary this assessment to give, the criteria of law and morality,” – said in it.
According to the participants of the Forum, war of the Kremlin against Ukraine, violating Ukraine’s territorial integrity and norms of international law.
“The occupation and annexation of the territory of Ukraine, accompanied by mass repressions against the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians, claimed over ten thousand lives have become shameful stain in Russian history. The war must be stopped immediately, the Russian troops should be withdrawn from the entire territory of Ukraine, including the Crimea and the Donbass, and internationally recognized Russian-Ukrainian border must be restored,” said the organization.
