The number of unemployed citizens of Ukraine has now reached 1.9 million people, but on the account in employment services consist of only 400 thousand of them. This was stated by Vice-Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko, the TV channel ZIK.
Deputy Prime Minister added that the employment centers are turning those people who are entitled to unemployment benefits.
As for employed citizens, according to officials, the number is 18 million people, but not all of them pay a single social contribution, causing significant damage to the state.
“If we talk about the able-bodied population in Ukraine are treated as such people from 15 to 75 years. However, it is obvious that in 75 years nobody will work. Moreover, in Ukraine up to this age, people just do not survive. But the real working people in the labour market of about 18 million. Moreover, insurance premiums are paid only 11 million people. Here we have the formula of the deficit of the Ukrainian budget”, — concluded Rozenko.
We will remind, in April the minimum size of unemployment benefit, insured persons, the insurance periods which were not less than six months increased by 120 hryvnias.
