Natural gas production in Ukraine in January-March 2017, according to operational data, increased by 1.3% (67.4 million cubic meters) compared with the same period of 2016 – up to 5 billion 137,4 million cubic meters this is evidenced by PJSC “Ukrtransgaz”.
The structure of gas production by the company for a specified period:
- PJSC “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” – 3 billion 695,6 million cubic meters (+0.3% against January-March-2016);
- PJSC “Ukrnafta” – 311,2 million cubic meters (-6,5%);
- other companies – 1 billion 130.6 signatures million cubic metres (+7.6 per cent).
In March 2017, in particular, gas production amounted to 1 billion 779,4 million cubic meters (+3.4 per cent by March-2016), including:
- PJSC “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” – 1,288 billion cubic metres (+2.9 percent);
- PJSC “Ukrnafta” – 105,6 million cubic meters (-5,5%);
- other companies 385,8 million cubic metres (+7.9 per cent).
As reported, natural gas production in Ukraine in 2016 increased by 0.5% (91,1 million cubic meters) compared to 2015 year – on-year to 19 billion 987,1 mln cubic meters.
According to the Ministry, enterprises of the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” in the past year has reduced gas production by 0.8% (at 131.8 million cubic meters) – up to 15 billion 900,2 million cubic meters, including:
- PJSC “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” increased gas production by 0.5% (to 74.7 million cubic meters) – up to 14 billion 602,7 million cubic meters;
- PJSC “Ukrnafta” reduced by 13.7% (205,5 million cubic meters), up to 1 billion 297,5 million cubic meters.
Other oil and gas companies operating in Ukraine to 2016 gas production increased by 5.8% (to 222,9 million cubic meters) compared with 2015 to 4 billion 86.9 million cubic meters.
Ukrtransgaz, 100% owned by NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, operates a system of trunk pipelines and 12 underground gas storages of the country with a total capacity of 31 billion cubic meters.
We will remind, the Cabinet of Ministers demands to revise the decision of the National Commission, carrying out state regulation in spheres of power and utilities, regarding the introduction of a subscriber fee for gas.
