The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov said that the presidents of Ukraine and Russia Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Putin are in constant contact. He said this in an interview with National Interest, reports “Correspondent”.
“He (Poroshenko. – Ed.) is in constant contact with President Putin, sometimes they talk on the phone, talking on the sidelines of the meeting in the “Normandy format” during the leaders meetings, the last conversation took place in Berlin in October last year”, – said Lavrov.
We will remind, before mass media reported about the four telephone talk of Poroshenko and Putin since the beginning of 2017. It was claimed that the last conversation took place on 21 February on the initiative of Ukraine.
The Kremlin later confirmed the two telephone conversation between Putin and Poroshenko.
