Russian lawyers mark Feigin and Nikolai Polozov commented on the possible versions of motives of murder of former state Duma Deputy, Denis Boronenkov. Both lawyers are inclined to think that the version about the involvement of Russian services are very realistic, the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“I think that the most significant motive is of those who is in Russia. It’s basically the Russian intelligence services since the late Boronenkov has been closely connected with them. He was involved in a number of corruption and various criminal schemes, and he participated in them, even investigated them. This may be all very closely intertwined in the motives of the murder. They could serve as a basis for the customer resolve Boronenkov. But it absolutely does not contradict the fact that Voronenkov was in a sense a carrier of information,” said mark Feigin.
About the realism of the involvement of intelligence agencies of neighboring countries to the murder of ex-MP says Nikolay Polozov. In his opinion, in favor of this version says the flight Boronenkov from Russia and cooperation with law enforcement bodies of Ukraine in the case of Yanukovych.
“I stick to the version that is the work of the Russian special services. In favor of this version say a few things. First, the flight Boronenkov from Russia. His work with law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. After all, he was a witness in a serious case, primarily against former President Yanukovych… For the Russian secret betrayal is a line that go is absolutely impossible. We all remember the murder, polonium poisoning of Litvinenko, a former FSB officer. I think the combination of all these factors identified are actually the sentencing, punishment, Voronenkov, which was performed today in the center of Kiev”, – said Polozov. Thus, according to the lawyer, to prove the involvement of Russia, as well as to solve the murder, will be extremely difficult: “I think it will be very difficult… I think it will be very difficult, almost impossible to solve a murder Boronenkov”.
Mark Feigin, in turn, says that Voronenkov, despite cooperation with the Ukrainian law enforcers, was hardly a key figure in a number of witnesses in the case of Yanukovych. Thus, from the procedural point of view, if he testified in front of a camera, the evidence is already “in”.
“From the procedural point of view, if he testified, so they are already in the business. I fully admit that the evidence was still given to the camera. As for the value of this testimony, I don’t think that only Voronenkov was a valuable witness in this sense… of Course, Boronenkov, as a former Russian MP, may have provided some value, but rather symbolic than it was a direct information medium, inside a special,” explained his point of view Feigin.
As for other motives, then, according to Feigin, the murder Boronenkov may be an ordinary crime.
“The second, more realistic and balanced people that this is a purely criminal murder. The thread may stretch anywhere, but no political background, especially the involvement of the security services, no. And third, Zyuganov announced, he said that the CIA was involved in the murder Boronenkov. All these versions are not based on real facts”, – said Feigin.
As reported today in Kiev in the shooting death of a former member of the Russian state Duma Denis Voronenkov, who took Ukrainian citizenship and testified against fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych.
