Foreign Minister of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel, March 2-3, will visit Kyiv with the visit to hold political meetings with Ukraine’s leadership. About it reports the German Embassy in Ukraine on Wednesday.
“The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel, 2 and 3 March 2017 in Kiev will hold political meetings with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman and Minister of foreign Affairs Paul Klimkin”, – stated in the message.
According to the Embassy, March 2 after a meeting with foreign Minister of Ukraine will hold a joint press conference the two Ministers.
Earlier Sigmar Gabriel said that without the implementation of the Minsk agreements, there is a risk of “intensive military escalation with many further casualties among civilians and the continuation of stagnation in the political process”.
According to Gabriel, even the most intense efforts to negotiate fail, if “not enough political will to implement agreements.”
