Fighting in Eastern Ukraine to stop but have replaced them a fierce war of words between Moscow and Kiev. Arguing about who is to blame for this escalation and who blew up the famous leader of the separatists in his office in Donetsk.
Russian TV showed a telephone interview with a man who called himself Azza. Words could hardly hear. The man claimed that the commander of the battalion “Somalia” 36-year-old Mikhail Tolstoy, nicknamed “Givi” was killed when his office was shelled from a grenade launcher from a distance of just a few hundred meters.
The man said that the shooter was a Ukrainian intelligence agents who infiltrated the so-called Donetsk people’s Republic. After completing the task, they were to leave her unnoticed.
But another soldier of the same battalion were offered a very different version of events. He expressed it in conversation with a reporter of “Nezavisimaya Gazeta” Paul Kanygin. Kanygin, an expert on Ukraine, he has good connections there. A “Frenchman” claims that Givi was killed by his own soldiers, which he abandoned in heavy fighting near Avdeevka.
On the state Russian TV channels Givi portrayed as a hero. In fact, he was a coward, and, in the opinion of the Frenchman, could he shoot yourself in the foot to leave the combat zone. What Givi was injured a few days before death, documented on video.
Unlike other deceased militia leader, Givi was a Ukrainian, he grew up in Ilovaisk in the Donbas. When in October his squire Motorola, or Anatoly Pavlov (Arseny — approx. TRANS.), a Russian citizen originally from Komi were killed by a bomb in the lift of own house, Givi became very concerned about their own safety. He sent parents in Transnistria and intended also to move, according to “Novaya Gazeta”.
Givi and Motorola in Kiev headed the list of war criminals wanted. After he was repulsed Donetsk airport, both physically and psychologically abused Ukrainian prisoners of war.
There is a third version: for many of the killings of the leaders of the separatists is Russian intelligence. We are talking about is too high-profile figures who managed to enlist the support of the population, or those whose actions do not suit Moscow.
