“I want to highlight one thing that we would like to emphasize today I wanted to announce: we have a visa-free regime, but in the future also citizens of Ukraine and citizens of Turkey to visit our country is not using ordinary passports and documents,” – said Klimkin.
According to him, the corresponding agreement has been reached and it is now necessary to finalize the technical issues.
Klimkin expressed hope that the Treaty will be signed in the near future.
Cavusoglu also said that in 2016, Turkey was visited by 1.25 million Ukrainians.
“The number of tourists who visited Turkey last year increased by 50%. We are very glad that could take in our country of 1.25 million citizens of Ukraine”, – he said.
Turkey, he said, is interested to increase the number of citizens engaged in mutual visits.
We will remind, Cavusoglu said that Turkey sees as its priority the protection of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people.
