Not falling for more than two weeks of heat in the center and East of the Australian continent has led to the emergence of the new color on the maps the meteorologists of the state: areas with temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius forecast on February 11, highlighted in purple.
As reports the Russian service bi-Bi-si, the color was supposed to enter in 2013 in response to the then abnormal heat. However, as reported by meteorologists, “heat stroke” in January-February this year broke all records of observations.
In the Central parts of the country the air on Saturday will warm up to 50 degrees Celsius. All this means that a third of the continent was painted in different shades of purple.
Some resourceful users of social networks have offered to produce t-shirts with a design of repeating a color weather chart for February 11.
Doctors and police warn Australians about the need to limit physical activity, do not spend too much time outdoors and not to abuse alcohol and sugary drinks.
Also the guards of the state of New South Wales urged residents to pay particular attention to children and the elderly.
