The health Ministry said that a new wave of influenza in Ukraine is expected in mid-February. This broadcast “112 Ukraine” said the head of the center of influenza and SARS Tatiana Dyhnovskaya.
“The epidemic threshold is not exceeded in any of the regions of Ukraine. The incidence among adults, in comparison with previous week decreased by 6% and increased slightly among children by 5%. The highest incidence in the Kiev region, the lowest – in the Ternopil region. The increase in incidence is expected in mid-February, when it will complete classes in schools, children will return. Close contact among schoolchildren contributes to the rapid spread of the infection,” she said.
Recall that from January 30 to February 5 in Kiev again became more of patients with influenza and SARS. The registered capital of 21 581 patients with influenza and SARS, which is 8.1% more than the previous week. At the same time, this indicator is below the epidemiological boundary by 36.2%.
