The volume of production of fresh or chilled pork in Ukraine in 2016 amounted to 256 thousand tonnes, which is 3.9% more than in 2015. The production in December rose compared with the previous month by 9.1%, compared with December 2015 declined by 4.6% and 23.3 thousand tons.
At the same time, the volume of production of fresh or chilled beef in 2016 has increased compared to the year 2015 by 22.5% to 59.4 thousand tons. In December produced 6.1 thousand tons, which is 9,7% more compared to production volume in November and 34.6% in comparison with the volume of production in December 2015.
Production of fresh or chilled poultry meat in 2016 it rose 5.1% compared with the year 2016, and amounted to 746 thousand tons. At that, December’s production of fresh poultry meat is equal to 78,9 thousand tons, which is 0.9% more than in November last year, and 26.5% greater than the volume of production in December 2015.
Also in 2016 was made 12,1 thousand tons of frozen pork, which is 23.3% less than in 2015. In December, the production volume of these products amounted to 1 thousand tons, which is 22% less than in November 2016 and 0.6% more than in December 2015.
The production of frozen beef in the past year decreased by 31.3% compared to 2015 year – on-year to 14.1 thousand tonnes. The production volume in December amounted to 2.2 thousand tons, which is 24.8% more than in November 2016, and 11.1% less than in December 2015.
The production of frozen poultry meat in 2016 amounted to 245 thousand tons, which is by 40.2% more than in 2015. In December this index amounted to 25.8 thousand tons, 15.9% more than in November 2016, and 65.8%, than in December 2015.
Manufacture of sausage products has decreased compared to 2015 year by 0.9% to 233 thousand tons. In December this index amounted to 20.5 thousand tons, which is 1.4% more volume production in November 2016 and 1.7% less than in December 2015.
