In Ukraine, there are economic prerequisites for the growth of gasoline prices by a further 0.4 – 1 UAH/l. This opinion was expressed by the fuel market expert, former President of the Association “Association of operators of petroleum products market” Leonid kosyanchuk, writes UBR.
According to the expert, despite the fact that the price tags at the gas station has been raised at the end of last / beginning of this year in the hryvnia, and more generally the rise in prices should be more — 1, 4 – 2 UAH/liter.
“The hryvnia, unfortunately, demonstrated a fall, and the contract value of gasoline is calculated in local currency at the current exchange rate to the dollar. And the external market too [effect] – because of the merrymaking OPEC and sanctions prices rose to $ 40 per ton. This is also significantly,” – said the expert.
We will remind, for the last two years gasoline consumption in Ukraine fell by 30-35%. Due to the increased cost in foreign markets and the soaring dollar tankers raised prices the last time for more than hryvnia per liter.
