The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande expressed confidence in the completion in the near future the process of ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU and introduction of visa-free regime for citizens of Ukraine.
As the press service of the Ukrainian President, the sides agreed during a telephone conversation.
In addition, the interlocutors discussed the state of implementation of the Minsk agreements on settling the situation in Donbas and noted the need for progress in the implementation of their unit on safety.
“Was marked by the continuing efforts of Ukraine aimed at the peaceful settlement, particularly the unilateral release of 15 individuals and ensure the water supply of certain districts of Luhansk region”, – stated in the message.
Recall, October 19, 2016 the Verkhovna Rada adopted the resolution on the appeal to parliaments, parliamentary assemblies and international organizations of the countries-members of EU to complete the ratification process of the Association Agreement.
