Became known the name of the MP, the assistant who was detained on a large bribe

Learned the name of the MP, whose assistant in Lviv detained on a bribe of 140 thousand hryvnia. It was the Deputy from “popular front” Yuri Savchuk, who has already commented on the detention of his assistant Peter Yaremchuk on a bribe, informs television channel “112 Ukraine”.

“This arrest I found out this morning. Peter Yaremchuk was passed on the documents to me assistant only on December 26. He’s not got the certificate of the assistant Deputy. I want to say that all are equal before law, so that man, if he can prove that he has committed a crime, should be punished. Only the documents he employed, check BP. He didn’t get my identity, he did not participate in any activities in the work today”, – he said.

“Only on 26 December, he applied for the job. He was on probation for one month,” – said Savchuk.

The Deputy also said he had been familiar with Peter Yaremchuk since last term.

“I’m the man saw on the Maidan, we talked, we had a familiarity. But we didn’t go. He asked for the job, I had a vacancy. Received him on probation. I even at that time have not seen the direction that he could charge at work. From my side no action will be taken. There are law enforcement agencies, they can do that and send the case to court”, – said the MP.

Welcome on the site, says Peter Yaremchuk works as an assistant on fixed-term contract on a permanent basis.

“This is a question for BP and those who make it to the website,” said Savchuk and stressed that until 26 December with the detainee did not work.

We will remind, in Lviv on a large bribe detained the assistant-consultant of people’s Deputy, which required 140 thousand hryvnia for lobbying of interests of commercial structures. As reported by law enforcement agencies, the assistant Deputy also promised the business for the money not to create obstacles to the construction of an apartment house and not to send parliamentary inquiries and appeals to law-enforcement and regulatory authorities.
