In the next two weeks, the epidemic needs to go on the decline
Ukraine has passed the peak incidence COVID-19 and in the next couple of weeks, is expected to decline in the epidemic. However, the easing of the quarantine restrictions can cause new outbreaks of coronavirus. This was announced at a press conference, Deputy Director of the Institute of mathematical machines and systems national Academy of Sciences Igor Brovchenko.
Note that only for the last days in Ukraine were hundreds of new patients and recovered. He emphasizes, however, that in recent years in Ukraine recorded “a certain tendency to reduce the ratio of new cases and recovered” and urged to continue to comply with quarantine restrictions.
“Overall statistics reflect an optimistic scenario of the epidemic. The forecast for next week, envisages a slow decline of the epidemic, although there are risks of the second wave COVID-19 when the forced increase in social activity of the population. We hope that we can defeat this disease. Positive predictions relate to the case when the easing of the quarantine restrictions won’t have much impact on the overall situation,” said Brovchenko.
