According to the report, Thornberry disappointed that the administration of ex-President Barack Obama rejected the request of Ukraine on providing lethal weapons to counter Russian aggression.
“I hope that the new administration will do it,” said Thornberry.
He also noted that the issue of arms of Ukraine enjoys the bipartisan support of legislators in both houses of the us Congress.
