The Council of the European Union adopted a decision to extend for another six months economic sanctions against Russia for non-compliance with the Minsk agreements. This was announced today, June 28, the Council of the EU.
The decision was taken by written procedure that was launched this Monday, June 26.
Earlier it was reported that European Union leaders agreed to extend economic sanctions against Russia for failure to comply with the Minsk agreements.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, in turn, called the decision to extend the sanctions fair.
