The U.S. takes seriously the obligation to support the Ukrainian people, working on the development of its own democratic and prosperous society. This was stated by U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch.
“A joint project of USAID and IOM helped to find shelter and social support, as well as the skills necessary to begin work and to start their own business… the Program, USAID provided comprehensive support for reintegration for more than 1,300 people. We have also helped hundreds to start your own business. We take very seriously the obligation to support the Ukrainian people, which works to develop its democratic and prosperous society,” – said the Ambassador.
Thus, according to the head of mission International organization for migration (IOM) in Ukraine Manfred Prophase, a 10 years program to strengthen the economic potential of migrants and people requiring support have used 5.5 thousand people.
“Over the last 10 years, more than 5,500 people, including internally displaced persons, have used the IOM program, establishing micro-enterprises or becoming self-employed in agriculture, manufacturing, construction, services,” – said the Prophase.
We will remind, after a month of “wet” printing on several papers will be optional – the Verkhovna Rada has canceled it for businesses.
