The last week before Easter is a time of grief, inner peace or, perhaps, tension and worries.
What an important and special Holy week, what is the main meaning of the great Christian feast of Easter explained the theologian Maxim Timo during the meeting with the Community of young spouses in force at the Church of the Transfiguration in Lviv.

The warriors sold Jesus for the excitement to abuse a defenseless person. But as the soldiers saw Him as a rebel against Caesar, then applied a severe penalty.
It is considered that Judas sold Jesus for money. But in reality, it’s rather primitive interpretation. What I have researched shows that he sold Christ for his own understanding of the Savior. He wanted to see Jesus other than he was to manifest his divine power to overcome the Roman soldiers, to protect the angels come down. And Jesus is going to die.
And even the closest disciple Peter sold Jesus over his fear forsaken Him.
Jesus suffered so we could live
Secondly, the Lord has given: Judas, Pilate, the high priests, they the Roman authorities, the people – soldiers and those on ridicule, and on the cross, and Christ’s giving the spirit to God.
This sequence shows that Jesus was willing to take on not just some specific sins, and to repurchase us from the whole system of sin. “It’s important for us to understand that to accept God’s will – this is the most characteristic of the imitation of Christ. We cannot replicate Jesus in His passion – it is unimaginable for us the sacrament. Don’t try emotionally to survive it, to be compassionate, because it is impossible for us, and even unwholesome. We still did not penetrate into the depth of His suffering. Most important to fulfil the words of Christ: if you want to follow Me – take up your cross and go. Do not invent special feats, emergency practices – we’re not precious to the Lord. Accept only what God puts us on his shoulders. Jesus did not suffer for us to suffer, and to live the fullness of His life”, says Timo.
Logopatologii as a reflection of hell
Another important point that brings us to the great Sabbath – Logopatologii of Jesus on the cross.
All four Gospels depict the life of Jesus as inseparable from the Father – He is doing all in the name. And on the cross there comes a moment when Jesus recognizes that His Father left: “my God, my God, why have You forsaken me?”. From a theological, existential point of view, this is the most tragic moment. Because separation from God is what we call hell.
Jesus experiences the rejection of God that none of us in life no longer felt it. He participates in our suffering, shares the death, taking such a penalty, which at the time was the most shameful.
Easter rebirth
The climax of the Christian faith – Easter. All religious texts should not stop us on the topic of suffering, and the theme of resurrection. Jesus died to bring us to a new life.
