President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on strengthening of responsibility for violation of military discipline, alcohol use, insubordination and so on. About it reports a press-service of the head of state.
The purpose of the Law “On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine on strengthening responsibility of military personnel and some other persons” is to increase the level of military discipline for military personnel and conscripts and reservists during the passage of fees, improvement of the procedure of bringing these individuals to justice for committing war administrative offences.
So, according to the document, will be the responsibility of military personnel as well as conscripts and reservists during the passage of charges for violation of driving rules or operation of vehicles, committed in a condition of alcoholic intoxication; committing war administrative offences; in the case of non-fulfillment (improper performance) of their duties; violation of military discipline or public order.
As reported, Poroshenko ordered on 1 April to increase the payouts to the Ukrainian military, who perform combat missions in the Donbass in the area of the contact.
