In the Kherson region, Novotroitsk district, went to the store a regular customer and asked the seller to get the goods from the freezer.
When the woman walked away from the counter, the man behind hit her with an axe on the head. The seller resisted, pushed away the attacker who ran into the street and began to call for help, police said in Kherson region.
Behind her ran and the assailant fled, taking nothing.
In the result of carried out quickly-search actions field investigators established the whereabouts of the suspect and detained him.
The attacker was a 49-year-old local resident, convicted three times for theft, illegal possession of drugs and injuries. The detainee explained that on that day, along with a friend was a chronic alcoholic. When the alcohol and snack was over, he decided to” “get them in the store.
