“Ukrzaliznytsia” announced an open competition for the best design project of the interior of the passenger car. About it reports a press-service of “Ukrzaliznytsya”.
In the competition can participate on a voluntary basis as a well known design Studio, and talented young designers seeking to Express themselves and have their own view of the interior of modern passenger cars.
“Our trains, both day and night, should be convenient and comfortable to the passengers enjoyed traveling. That is why I appeal to designers who can offer their own vision of modern interior design of passenger coaches using innovative technologies and materials of new generation”, – said the head of the Board of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” Wojciech Balczun.
Those wishing to participate in the contest can submit their projects for two months, until March 27, 2017. The designers will consider the competition Commission of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, which will select some of the best options of interior design passenger cars. After completion of the competition for the next two weeks, from 27 March to 10 April, “Ukrzaliznytsya” plans to hold a discussion of selected projects among the passengers by means of questionnaires in trains and approve the best design project at the Board meeting of the company
The company has formed the technical requirements to be followed by designers when working on projects, among which the absolute respect of security of passengers in cars. Interior design must meet modern requirements of ergonomics and to provide, inter alia, safe sleeping shelves and compartments for Luggage. For the equipment of passenger compartment must be used modern hardware and a new generation of materials. In passenger seats must be applied innovative design solutions that improve their ergonomics and functionality.
In “Ukrzaliznytsia” also expect that designers will offer improved conditions for the provision of catering services, modern visualization of external information for passengers, modern systems of electrical, heating and air conditioning systems and the like.
