The maximum allowable quantity of hydrogen sulfide in the South-East of Moscow January 4, has been exceeded 28 times. It is reported by RBC with reference to the Agency “Interfax”.
According to the Agency, the maximum permissible concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the Metropolitan area Marino began to grow on the evening of 4 January. By 20:00 Moscow time the increase amounted to 8.3%, and by 22:00 — 28 times.
To normal values the level of pollutants dropped to 01:00 Thursday.
In the main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in Moscow the maximum permissible concentrations of harmful substances in the air is not fixed, said the Agency interlocutor.
Napomnim, in November 2014, the release of hydrogen sulfide was recorded at the metro station “Tula”, “Taganskaya”, Lyublino, Mar’ino, on the Arbat and Tverskaya. At the same time, the Ministry of emergency situations reported the excess of permissible concentrations of isopropylbenzene in the emissions of Moscow refinery 23-30 times.
The Ministry of emergency situations said the cause of the smell of a fault on one of the installations at the Moscow refinery, but the company “Gazprom Neft” has denied the information about the accident at the plant.
Later the Moscow environmental Prosecutor’s office demanded to initiate a criminal case on the fact of the release in Moscow of hydrogen sulfide and start checking the plant.
