The head of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy decided to close the morning plenary session of Parliament in connection with a small number of people’s deputies.
“The last straw” for the speaker was a rating vote, which registered a total of 211 parliamentarians when the required minimum during the decision-making 226 people.
“I declare the morning session of the Verkhovna Rada closed. At 16:00 hours we will gather to continue our work. I do not have the right to cancel the evening session,” – said paruby.
He also protested this attendance in Parliament and called on faction leaders to deal with their deputies in this matter.
Yesterday, January 18, meeting of the Parliament was closed prematurely due to insufficient number of deputies.
