For complete home heating the Ukrainians enough eight billion cubic meters of gas per year. However, due to poor teplosistemy the country loses about 60% of the fuel. This opinion was expressed by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of regional development, construction and housing and utilities Gennady Zubko, the TV channel ZIK.
“Of 18.6 billion cubic meters of gas supplied for the needs of housing and utilities, and 2.4 are lost in the heating system and 9 – directly into homes. While the purpose of heating apartments comes only 7.2 billion cubic meters. That is, in General, the Ukrainians are losing more than 60% gas, the cost of which will still pay,” said Zubko.
According to him, for efficient heating in the residential sector with a comfortable twenty degrees of temperature, it is enough to eight billion cubic meters of gas.
“However, if you look at Poland, Austria or Germany to achieve this effect, they carried out appropriate investments for seven or even fifteen years”, – said Zubko.
In particular, Germany has spent 15 years to lead to energy efficiency of the building, which was erected in the Eastern part in the Soviet times. Poland has passed this way for eight years.
“We already have a lot of projects all over the country, which has managed to reduce gas consumption by 75%. It’s all due to the heating of houses,” – said the Minister.
