The transfer of control of Ukraine’s border with Russia on the territory of the occupied Donbas “is the last step in the implementation of the Minsk agreements”. This was stated by Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a joint press conference with Austrian foreign Minister Sebastian Kurtz, presiding in the OSCE.
“First you need to hold an Amnesty, to enact the law on the special status, to fix it on a permanent basis in the Constitution, hold local elections, and all of these things have to be done in the form, which will be coordinated with the Donbass”, – he said.
We will remind, on the eve of the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov declared that restoring control over the uncontrolled border with Russia on the territory of the occupied Donbas is scheduled for 2017. And the whole process will not take more than 2 weeks.
