Ukraine in its lawsuit in the International court accuses Russia of acts of terrorism, and requires it immediately to regain control of the captured territories. This was stated at a briefing the Minister of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin, reports 112.ua.
The Minister listed the terrorist attacks that Russia has made in Ukraine.
“I want to make clear, what we blame Russia. Mi believe that, with the support of the Russian Federation, committed such acts of terrorism: the Downing of the Malaysian airlines plane, the shelling of residential areas of Mariupol, when they killed 30 people, shelling residential areas of Kramatorsk destruction of civilian passenger bus in Volnovakha explosion during a Unity March in Kharkov, this is all acts of terrorism,” – said Klimkin.
Also, the diplomat has called the demands to Russia, which will be considered in court.
“This is to immediately stop supplying weapons and any means of assistance, training armed groups and their financing. To return the Ukrainian control over the Ukrainian-Russian border with the aim of preventing acts of terrorism”, – said Klimkin.
“When we file this lawsuit of course we want the world and in this case, the international court of justice, which is the highest court, clearly said Russia had violated international law. But then we want the restitution of their rights and of course we want compensation” – said the Minister.
Yesterday, January 16, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine filed a suit regarding the violation by Russia of the UN Convention on combating financing of terrorism and the Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination international court of justice in the Hague.
