The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine today will appoint a new acting head of Ukrzaliznytsya (UZ) Vice-Minister of infrastructure Evgeny Kravtsov. This was stated by Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman, opening a government meeting.
“Today we will consider the appointment of the acting new head of “Ukrzaliznytsya”. … The proposal that we discussed is to the acting leader to appoint the Deputy Minister of infrastructure Evgeny Kravtsov, who is now head of the Supervisory Board of “Ukrzaliznytsya” and the appointment of Balchune was also acting That is, it has the appropriate expertise,” – said Groisman.
The Premier noted that the Cabinet should announce a new competition to find a candidate for the management of the enterprise.
As reported, Ukraine today informed that the head of the OUSE Wojciech Balczun resigned. Thus, as we know, the validity of the contract with Balkonom ended June 5, 2017. However, in the “Ukrzaliznytsia” then assured that the contract is automatically extended to 2019 if the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides otherwise.
Earlier, the Minister of infrastructure Vladimir Omelian repeatedly demanded the dismissal of the head of the OUSE. Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that the decision on whether to renew the contract with Balkonom will be made on the basis of its report on the work for the year.
